I had prepared myself for a life without her presence, yet here she was—unbelievably, undeniably real, and near! A wave of joy surged through me, so intense that I nearly jumped up! The familiar grace in her movements, the effortless warmth in her expressions—nothing had changed, yet everything felt new. It felt as if she crafted them just for me.

Was I overwhelmed by the unexpected proximity? Was it the guilt of leaving without a word? Or was it overconfidence, believing she was noticing me too?
I don’t know.
